At least, I was able to walk in, order a pizza that old menu had down at about £11 and pay £5 for it. It's the old Slicery location, and I was lucky enough to try it on their first day of relaunch. Things were a bit cosy, but a good crowd was popping in, and the pizza made up for the no-frills takeaway atmosphere. Things to Know: - Takeaway only - a few seats, but not for dining. - Cash preferred (they want to avoid the card fee) - Great value (I got a loaded 'Mexican' for a fiver!) - Thin crust, decent toppings. - Friendly owner and even a cute dog hanging around. Quirky bonus: I overheard some fun conversations while waiting, and the owner seemed genuinely passionate. He even hinted at the secrets behind the low prices! Forgot to take a pic before eating it. Got the 12" one for only £5 (on discount, normally £7, soo cheap!) and it was DELICIOUS! Would love to come back here. Oh and they don't have seats inside, so it's only for take away.
We had our first takeaway from Hey Pizza tonight. We were very impressed and will definitely order again. Both pizza's were very tasty. Customer service was great as I made a couple of changes and the restaurant called me to clarify what I was wanting.
Great pizza! I ordered Chicken Deluxe and belive me... in a long time I haven't devoured pizza like that. It's great, tasty, great amount of toppings, really good dough Thank you so much for this free pizza, I will definitely eat here again! It's definitely worth paying for. Before discovering this place I was under the impression that a fresh £5 pizza was a thing of the past. The pizza here is delicious, there's great variety, service is quick - you order online and it's ready for collection in 10 minutes! The staff are always friendly and happy to help! Even if you're not from Leith, it's recommended and worth visiting!
£5 for a freshly made 12" pizza. You can't go wrong, especially as the pizzas were lovely. Great value & tasty Pizza. Great service. Young Irish lad working there was very friendly and made us 2 lovely pizzas. Place was undergoing a renovation when we were there so wasn't looking it's best but it looks like it will be pretty cool when it's finished. We'll definitely return.
